Reality TV shows are a big part of entertainment culture in America, with the stars of these shows raking in thousands if not millions of dollars a year for their parts in the shows. Many people dislike Reality TV shows as they believe that the people involved in them make enormous amounts of money for doing very little work. But, is this really the case?

Although what they do on-screen may seem like they permanently live a life of leisure, the behind the scenes and social media work they have to do takes up a big chunk of their time when the cameras aren’t rolling. With this in mind, have you ever wondered which Reality TV star puts in the most work for their fame and riches?

Thanks to new research, BetCalifornia.com have analyzed 50 of the biggest Reality TV stars across the nation and have created an index ranking the Hardest Working Reality TV Stars. The index looked at various metrics and weighted them accordingly from most work to least work: TV/Movie credits, YouTube videos, TikTok’s, Instagram posts and Twitter posts (since 2020).

“Get your f***ing ass up and work” (Kim Kardashian, 2022)

Crowned the Hardest Working Reality TV Star in America is Paris Hilton. Although her hit Reality TV Show “The Simple Life” first aired in 2003, she has really been putting in the work recently, especially on Instagram and Twitter, as her total score on the index comes in at 86.43.

In second place came the TikTok queen JoJo Siwa, with her Reality Show “Dance Pop Revolution” and her social media presence netting her an index score of 84.59. In third comes the host of “American Idol”, Ryan Seacrest, with an index score of 84.49.

After her controversial ‘work’ comments went viral in March, Kim Kardashian can only make it to 7th position, sitting behind the likes of Jersey Shores, Snooki (6th). Despite being one the most famous and wealthiest families in America, the Kardashian/Jenner clan struggle to dominate the top 20, with Kylie Jenner the only other to make the list (13th).
