According to the official synopsis provided by HBO Max, ‘Close Enough‘ is “a surreal animated comedy about a married couple, their five-year-old daughter, and their two best friends / divorced roommates, all living together on the east side of Los Angeles. They are navigating that transition time in their 30s when life is about growing up, but not getting old. It is about juggling work, children, and chasing your dreams while avoiding time-travelling snails, clowns. stripper and killer mannequins.
